Job Responsibilities
Collect, process, and maintain spatial datasets from diverse sources.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant standards.
Create high-quality maps, visualizations, and reports to support projects and stakeholders.
Develop and implement cartographic standards for consistency and clarity.
Perform spatial analyses such as buffering, overlay, and spatial statistics to extract insights.
Build predictive models and simulations using GIS tools and methodologies.
Manage and maintain GIS applications and datasets
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system performance.
Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications for future reference.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field
Experience Requirements
2+ years of professional experience in GIS or a related geospatial role.
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of various GIS/CAD software or integration with GIS.
Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
Experience with spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server).
Familiarity with programming languages like Python, R, or JavaScript (e.g., for ArcGIS API).
Understanding of web mapping platforms (e.g., ArcGIS Online, Mapbox, Leaflet).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
