Position Summary:

A Data Scientist uses advanced analytical techniques, machine learning, and statistical tools to extract insights from complex datasets. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and a problem-solving mindset to guide data-driven decision-making. Data Scientists collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models, optimize processes, and deliver actionable insights.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

  • Collect, process, and clean large datasets to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Develop automated data pipelines for streamlined data access.

  • Perform feature engineering and optimize models for accuracy and performance.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing and use statistical methods to validate findings.
  • Develop algorithms and statistical models to support decision-making.

  • Present results through dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Use programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

    • Required Skills and Qualifications:

      • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
      • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
      • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
      • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
      • Knowledge of big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud services.
      • Expertise in statistical analysis, data modeling, and algorithm design.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities to derive insights from ambiguous data.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
      • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

      Educational Background

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
      • Certifications in data science or machine learning (e.g., Google Data Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning) are a plus.

      Experience:

      • 2+ years of experience in data science or a related analytical role.
      • Demonstrated success in solving real-world problems through data science projects.

Using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, this role focuses on preparing high-quality datasets and creating interactive dashboards to support decision-making across the organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and preprocess raw data from various sources to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Address data inconsistencies, missing values, and duplicate entries to maintain a reliable dataset.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Use data storytelling techniques to convey complex findings in a visually engaging and comprehensible manner.
  • Maintain and update dashboards to reflect real-time data and changing business needs.
  • Partner with business units to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored visualizations.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze trends and patterns to identify opportunities for process improvements or growth.
  • Generate summary statistics and reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Automate data preparation and reporting processes using scripts or advanced features within Power BI and Tableau.

  • Provide training to end-users on interpreting and using dashboards effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and Excel for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience in data cleaning using SQL, Python, or Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Knowledge of data modeling and relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query for advanced Power BI functionalities.
  • Strong attention to detail for identifying data discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret data and deliver insights that drive business value.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data visually and verbally to non-technical audiences.

Educational Background:

  • Masters in Engineering any discipline with relevant experience in data science.
  • Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, or data analytics (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in data cleaning, visualization, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience creating dynamic dashboards for business applications.
